About 2/3 of packages have been shipped, and the others should go out this afternoon or early tomorrow. Because I usually use my shipping account for Phoenix Crate, some of you have received shipping notifications and tracking links as if your perks are coming from Phoenix Crate. It's still me, and it's still your Kickstarter perks, I just forgot to switch over the "from" label. I apologize for any confusion!

The only thing still needing work is the short story I promised. It's not ready for you yet, but I'm working on it! I'll deliver it digitally when it's done. The deleted scenes ebook and the art prints will be uploaded and delivered digitally tonight.

Thank you for your patience! We're making great progress!

Here's where things stand now:

• Audiobooks - The Frost and the Flame - Nathaniel is hard at work on the narration and probably close to done.
• Hardbacks - The Frost and the Flame - formatted and ready to go, including lovely blurbs from other authors on the back!
• Paperbacks - The Frost and the Flame - formatted and ready to go!
• Ebooks - The Frost and the Flame - formatted and ready to go!
• Character art - complete! Vellum prints have arrived and I'll get the downloads ready this weekend.
• Fair lands art - started, not complete
• Book cover art prints - ready to go!
• Theo's Tea Sampler - in progress, I'm working on the packaging
• Extra scenes - complete! I need to figure out a cover for this, but otherwise it's done.
• The Wraith short story - started
• Theo quote travel mugs - arrived! They look great!

Once I have all the formats of The Frost and the Flame ready, I will set the official retail release date and distribute those versions to you at least two weeks before the retail release. All physical items will be shipped together. Digital rewards may be fulfilled separately (probably earlier) because I don't want to keep you waiting!

Status report - all the things!

Thank you all for your patience! I've been traveling for the past week, which was absolutely delightful (I saw my brother and his wife and their adorable toddler and newborn! and my parents!).

Here's where things stand:

• Audiobooks - The Frost and the Flame - I sent the final version to Nathaniel tonight and he will start on it in about two weeks
• Hardbacks - The Frost and the Flame - almost done formatting, waiting on a couple minor things
• Paperbacks - The Frost and the Flame - copyedited, formatted
• Ebooks - The Frost and the Flame - ready pending a final check!
• Character art - almost complete
• Fair lands art - started, not complete
• Book cover art prints - arriving soon!
• Theo's Tea Sampler - arriving soon!
• Extra scenes - almost complete!
• The Wraith short story - started

The Frost and the Flame is now in copy editing! That step will be finished soon and the book will move on to formatting both hardbacks and paperbacks, and at the same time will be sent to the narrator. The character art is in process too!

We're having some unseasonably warm and lovely weather here in northern Virginia. We've taken the opportunity to picnic and go on bike rides at nearby parks. I hope you're enjoying this season too!

Also, my author friend Nicholas Kotar (who once interviewed me about noblebright fantasy and wrote an excellent article now reposted on Noblebright.org) just launched an exciting Kickstarter of his own. You can find it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1402845448/jolabokaflod-christmas-book-flood-in-a-box This Kickstarter is really cool because a) Nicholas is really a great author, and b) it's exciting to see indie authors succeeding with high-end physical books, not just ebooks. I'm getting some ideas for future projects of my own!
